Chris Wilder has added a Premier League youngster to his squad, a player who won promotion from League One with Barnsley last season.
Middlesbrough winger Harry Chapman arrives at Bramall Lane on a season-long loan and could make his United debut against Rochdale at Bramall Lane on Saturday.
The Hartlepool-born teenager impressed at Oakwell during the second-half of the 2015-16 campaign, making 14 appearances, including featuring in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy success at Wembley and in the semi-finals of the play-offs as the Tykes comfortably overcame Walsall.
The 18-year-old also has international experience, having represented England's U18s.
Speaking after seeing the switch rubber-stamped, boss Wilder remarked: "Harry is a highly-rated wide player with plenty of ability and I'm sure he's going to excite our supporters."
Chapman becomes Wilder's eighth addition since taking over as manager in May.
