United's U18s made it two wins from two with a thumping victory over Millwall at the SteelPhalt Academy at Shirelciffe on Saturday.
Following the opening day success at Coventry City, the Blades hit the Lions for six, scoring three times in each half. Jordan Hallam got the first two, before Tyler Smith got the third before the break. After the interval, Stephen Mallon got on the scoresheet, before defenders Sam Graham and substitute Joe Cummings rounded off the scoring.
HALLAM struck twice inside the opening ten minutes, scoring direct from a free-kick and prior to netting from the spot after Smith was brought down.
Parkhouse and SMITH both missed opportunities either side of the half hour, before the latter atoned firing home on the turn with the aid of the far post in the 44th minute.
The goals continued to come after the break, as Parkhouse teed up MALLON to make it four in the 54th minute.
Ten minutes later, it was five as GRAHAM headed home Hallam's pinpoint cross and in the 88th minute it was six of the best for the hosts as CUMMINGS tapped home from close range to wrap up the three points.
Coach Derek Geary commented: "It was another very impressive display, we controlled the game from start-to-finish and the scoreline reflected our dominance.
"We defended well and made our possession count, we were ruthless in the box and the quality in the final third was excellent.
"We are top of the league, now the challenge is to stay there."
