United's valuation of Che Adams has finally been met and the striker has joined Birmingham City.
Adams, 20, leaves the Blades for an undisclosed fee.
Signed from Ilkeston in November 2014, he made a total of 55 appearances in all competitions and scored 15 times, with the highlight possibly his two goals against Tottenham Hotspur in the Capital One Cup semi-final in January 2015.
Adams had been the subject of enquiries in recent weeks with Birmingham City increasing their offer on a number of occasions.
Boss Chris Wilder commented: "It has been difficult, but we have stood our ground in terms of our value of Che and Birmingham have now matched that valuation.
"Che has shown the desire to go and speak to Birmingham and has been keen to make the move happen.
"We've been in control of negotiations, though, we have been throughout, we believe we have got an excellent price and we've covered ourselves going forward if Che realises his potential.
"It is difficult when young players see the chance to raise their profile and get an increased wage, more often than not deals happen in these situations. Importantly the deal has been done on our terms."
