The chance to play on the new state-of-the-art Desso pitch at the Club's Bramall Lane stadium, giving football fans the chance to showcase their skills in the oldest professional football stadium in the world has proved very popular, but there is still time to book your place.
There are three slots remaining throughout the day on the 16th, 17th and 25th May. To book a game or for more details contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0114 253 7200.
On each date, the stadium and dressing rooms will be available 10am to 1pm (10.30am kick-off), 2pm to 5pm (2.30pm kick-off) and 6pm to 9.30pm (7pm kick-off). Prices range from £1,850 to £2,795.
Playing slots are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first-served basis, with a maximum of 16 players per squad, and a deposit of £150 is required to confirm the booking. The full balance is due 60 days before the game.
Each organisation that books will get the chance of a 90-minute, 11-a-side game (plus substitutes), including full use of the stadium's playing facilities from the dressing room to the players' tunnel.
A match co-ordinator, referee, stewards and a safety officer will all be provided by the Club, and entry to the Lane will be free for spectators, with each business that signs up given two complimentary footballs to use during the game - and keep as a souvenir.
Participants in evening games will even have the chance to play under the Bramall Lane floodlights, bringing back memories of famous nights at under the lights at the Lane.
Dave McCarthy, Operations Director at Sheffield United, said: "This is a unique opportunity to play on the pitch at Bramall Lane and I'm hoping that businesses, teams and other groups will make the most of it.
"Bramall Lane is the world's oldest professional football ground in continuous use, and the chance to play here is one that I'm sure will be snapped up by businesses across the region and beyond.
"For businesses based in Sheffield and Blades fans across the country, this presents the chance to realise a childhood dream of playing on the same hallowed turf as some of the United heroes, both present and past."
Sheffield United reserves the right to re-arrange any of the dates due to first-team/stadium commitments.
