Westfield School won the historic Clegg Shield cup final played at Bramall Lane.
The final of the tournament, which originated in 1889, saw Westfield defeat Springs Academy 4-0 before a crowd of 600 playing on the stadium's new Desso pitch, a first in the event's history.
The Clegg Shield, which began in 1889, the year the Blades were formed, is played for on an annual basis through a knock-out competition by final year 11 pupils in the city. It is one of the oldest schools' competitions in the country.
This year's tournament sawSprings beat High Storrs, Newfield, Chaucer and Tapton to reach the finals, with Westfield beating Hinde House, Stocksbridge, Birley and All Saints.
Blades Operations Director Dave McCarthy commented: ''We were very proud to stage the Clegg Shield cup final on our new pitch. Although Westfield ran out 4-0 winners it was good, competitive game with both sides giving their all and played in the right spirit."
