Another United youngster has temporarily moved away from Bramall Lane to further his development by playing first-team football.
Young centre-half Manny Adebowale has followed in the footsteps of Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Northampton Town), CJ Hamilton and David Brooks (FC Halifax Town) and George Willis (Matlock Town), by joining Sheffield FC on an initial month's loan.
And the aforementioned quartet have already made a mark at their respective loan clubs.
Firstly, Calvert-Lewin, who joined the Cobblers on a deal until January prior to the season getting underway, has made six appearances for Town, scoring twice against Blackpool and Colchester in the Capital One Cup and Johnstone's Paint Trophy respectively.
At The Shay, Hamilton has made three appearances in total and scored on his home debut against Barrow, whilst Brooks started and scored against Aldershot Town on Saturday.
Finally, over at the Autoworld Arena, goalkeeper Willis has performed well between the sticks despite The Gladiators losing against Skelmersdale United and Halesowen Town since his arrival in Derbyshire.
