Signed shirts for DBL competition winners

Sheffield United club sponsor DBL Logistics presented two lucky Blades fans with signed home shirts following a social media competition.


The firm recently added a special Blades-themed 44 tonne truck to its fleet, and Blades fans were asked to submit their photos of them with the truck after it was first revealed during the pre-season fixture with Hull.


The two lucky winners picked at random to receive a signed home shirt each were Rob Gribbon and Sharon Ashurst, and they were presented with the shirts at DBL Logistics' Huntsman Depot. Both winners were also given corporate box tickets for a home game of their choice.


David Clarkson, managing director of DBL Logistics, said: "We have thoroughly enjoyed interacting with Blades fans this season, and as Blades fans ourselves it gives us great pleasure to run competitions and provide prizes such as this.


"I'd like to thank all Blades fans who have submitted photos to us over the past few weeks. We are delighted with the Blades truck and the next step now is to collate images sent it to us to create a 'United Family' collage on the other side of the trailer.


"That way we will be taking Blades fans with us wherever we go, flying the Sheffield United flag up and down the country on all of our deliveries."
