New Supporter Liaison Officers to assist Lane fans

29 September 2015

Sheffield United is delighted to announce the appointment of four voluntary Supporter Liaison Officers to further help improve communications on what is the busiest time for the Club, home match days.

Katharine Stewart, John Cain, Gary Ogden and Matt Bassett all bring a wealth of knowledge as life-long fans to the new roles, as well as a desire to work together to improve fans' experiences at Bramall Lane.

Club Liaison Officer, John Garrett, commented: "Each will have their own part of Bramall Lane and will quickly become a familiar and recognised contact point for all.

"The new Officers will be involved in pre and post match briefs to ensure that they are in full possession of any important facts and information relating to the game. They will be visible before, during and at the end of a game and will assist reaction times to many issues.

"The Introduction of the new SLO's will help the Club respond better to supporters needs on a match day, they will become an invaluable resource for both the Club and fans."
