Nigel Adkins is looking for another disciplined performance from his players, when United travel to face Port Vale on Saturday.
The Blades head to Vale Park at the weekend, looking to build on a recent win over Doncaster Rovers and Tuesday's point at leaders Burton Albion and Adkins wants his team to be positive from the first whistle.
But at the same time, the Blades boss is mindful of the threats posed by Rob Page's Valiants, especially on their own patch.
Looking ahead to the game, Adkins remarked: "I remember from my playing days, what a big pitch it is at Vale Park, but we will be well prepared, we show all our opponents the same respect and ensure the players are fully briefed.
"Vale traditionally have a good home record and they try and utilise the width of the playing surface, but we have players too who will be suited by the big pitch and hopefully we can be assertive from an early stage."
The Gaffer added: "Rob Page is someone who did very well for Sheffield United as a player and like with all players and managers of this Club, fans show an interest in their future moves.
"He has earnt himself an opportunity to be manager at Port Vale and they have had a decent start and will no doubt be looking to win the game, but for me and the coaching staff, we want to see us continue the momentum we have picked up in the last couple of fixtures."
