Nigel Adkins says he will rotate his squad for Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Notts County, but remains focused on progression to the next round.
Speaking ahead of the tie, Adkins also revealed it will be difficult to know what type of team Ricardo Moniz's Magpies are likely to field, following wholesale changes for Saturday's loss at Leyton Orient.
The Gaffer said: "It should be a good game, the emphasis is on us to go out there and perform in the manner we want to.
"Notts County made nine changes at the weekend, so it will be difficult to second guess what they are going to do, but we will have prepared the players properly in terms of the opposition, regardless of who plays and who doesn't."
Adkins added: "Notts County will be looking to come and put on a good show and progress, but we are at home at Bramall Lane and it is a game where I have to do right by the Club.
"We have players coming back from injury and competition for places is important during what is a relentless campaign.
"Some lads need a game and others will get the chance to fill the voids left by the enforced absences of Basham, Flynn and Edgar."
