Callum McFadzean has been allowed to join League Two outfit Stevenage on-loan until the New Year in a bid for regular first-team football.
The 21-year-old will join Teddy Sheringham's side immediately and remain at the Lamex Stadium until the 10th Janaury 2016.
McFadzean has started twice for the Blades this season, in the games at Gillingham and Fulham respectively.
The versatile left-sided player has recently overcome injury to feature for Scotland's U21s during the two most recent international breaks.
In total, the Sheffield born McFadzean has made 23 appearances for the Blades, scoring once, in the play-off semi-final first-leg against Yeovil Town in the 2012/13 season.
