John Brayford completed 90 minutes as United's U21s drew with Barnsley at Oakwell Academy on Monday afternoon.
Florent Cuvelier got through an hour on his return to action, as the Blades looked the most likely to nick a winner.
Connor Dimaio came closest to breaking the deadlock, hitting the woodwork in the first-half, but despite going on to dominate to second period, the visitors failed to breakdown the Tykes rearguard.
Coach Chris Morgan felt his side possibly deserved more from the game, but was happy enough with a point, on the back of recent league wins over Hull City, Coventry City and Brentford.
Reflecting on the stalemate, United's Development Coach commented: "The first-half was pretty much a nothing affair, the pitch wasn't the best and both sides struggled to offer much offensively.
"At half-time we encouraged the lads to play the conditions and we did, we were positive, we got on the front foot and if it had been a boxing match we would have won comfortably on points.
"But equally so we had to keep our concentration defensively because Barnsley offered a live threat on the counter and we could have easily got caught with a sucker punch too.
"So in the end we had to settle for a point, but given the conditions, we take the positives of another clean sheet and move on to the next game."
Of Brayford and Cuvelier, Morgan added: "Flo did well, he came through an hour as planned and looked sharp.
"John has now had three games in a week, he has gradually built up the minutes and he is looking fit and strong. Importantly he feels good in himself, so he's edging ever nearer a return."
