Signed items up for auction

Blades fans currently have the opportunity to bag themselves two unique match worn items from the season that ended early this month with all proceeds from the ebay auction going to Prostate Cancer UK.

The first item is a Jamie Murphy's boots, signed, from the Capital One Cup run, which saw United edged out 3-2 against Tottenham Hotspur at the semi-final stage.

Bid now at the auction ends just after lunchtime on Friday 29th May.

Meanwhile, we also have a signed pair of Mark Howard's gloves, United's number one has worn these gloves throughout the 2014/15 campaign, in addition to at Wembley last April for the FA Cup semi-final with Hull City.

Bid for the gloves now at - again bidding closes just after 12noon on the 29th May.

Prostate Cancer UK is the Football League's chosen charity partner and next month the Blades will be represented in the 2015 London to Amsterdam Challenge, which see the respective teams cycle 145 miles over three days in June.

A team of five fans and members of staff will represent the Blades in the annual event to raise monies for the charity.

Academy director Nick Cox and Sheffield United Community Foundation Business Development Officer Pat Piearcey will join up with fans Paul Briddock and Paul and Peter Crossland, who were part of Team Tour De Blades last season when just short of £8,000 was raised.

In addition former captain and coach Chris Morgan and Managing Director Mal Brannigan will be non-travelling ambassadors as Team Tour De Blades set a target of raising £15,000 for Prostate Cancer UK.
