United Future clinch title with games to spare

10 March 2015

The Club's 'United Future Programme' wrapped up the English College Football Association title with a 3-1 win over Huddersfield Town.

Crowned as champions with games to spare, Lee Dunn's side has now won all their 11 league games.

"I am just happy we have finally managed it and to keep the winning run going," Dunn said. "It has been a brilliant beginning for the programme but the focus now is to go the remainder of the season with a perfect record."

"It's unbelievable to clinch the title on the back of an unbeaten record," said captain Will Wraith. "We're all unbelievably proud of the team, programme and our achievements this year."

The 'United Future Programme' is a new elite education and training course for talented young footballers who aspire to turn professional. The two-year programme offers students the chance to complete a recognised vocational qualification and hone their technical skills with the Blades. The programme is being delivered by United's Academy and The Sheffield College.
