Blades duo Nigel Clough and Jamie Murphy have been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Manager and Player of the Month Award for February respectively.
United collected 14 points from seven games in a hectic month, with impressive away victories at leaders Bristol City, Notts County and Rochdale the notable highlights of February, that have kept United in the race for a top two finish.
The other three managers nominated are Steve Cotterill (Bristol City), Simon Grayson (Preston North End) and Robert Page (Port Vale).
The judging panel comprises of former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports' Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson; League Managers' Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.
Meanwhile, Murphy has been in fine form in February, which followed a memorable January when he celebrated the birth of his first child and signed a new long-term contract at Bramall Lane.
The other players nominated are Bradley Dack (Gillingham), Aden Flint (Bristol City) and Izale McLeod (Crawley Town).
The players' judging panel comprises Sky Sports' Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Head of Communications John Nagle; League Managers' Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.
All winners will be announced on Friday 6th March.
