Father's Day surprise

23 June 2015

Keira and Keiron Webb got a real surprise when they came down to Bramall Lane on Father's Day expecting a tour and a lunch.

Little did they know that Keira was the winner of the Blades Father's Day competition having nominated her Dad, Keiron, as someone very special.

Keira was announced the winner and presented with her prize by Blades ;egend Tony Currie. A Number 1 Dad's shirt and two tickets for the Director's Box for a game next season were given to Keira and then passed to on to a stunned Keiron.

The quality of the entries was very high but Keira's mounted hand written entry with photos had particularly impressed, especially as she said that she and her Dad loved one another unconditionally.

Keira said: "Thank you for picking me as the winner. I am really happy to be giving my Dad this special prize. He deserves a treat as he is always treating me."

We would also like to congratulate our runner-ups in the competition who have all got tickets to bring their dads to a game this season - William Agar from Dronfield, Euan Kay from Cheshire, Daniel, Benjamin and Tilly Barber from Dronfield, William Armitage from Woodsetts, Alfie Hanstock from Sheffield, George Cass from Louth and Caitlin Pearson from Sheffield.
