Nigel Adkins has encouraged Blades fans to support Chris Morgan's testimonial and in the process see if his side can maintain the impressive pre-season start.
After wins over Ilkeston, Cheltenham Town and Exeter City, the Blades face Premiership Newcastle United on Sunday (1pm kick-off) and Adkins knows it will be a severe test.
"We are looking forward to it, we've won three so far, but Sunday will be a different test and a great exercise," said the Blades chief.
"Steve McClaren will be looking to build his own preparations and they will look to have more of the ball so from a defensive point of view we have got to work hard, but I'm also wanting us to be effective with the ball."
Mark Howard (thigh) was pulled out of Thursday's encounter at Exeter in the warm-up and Michael Higdon stretched his hamstring just before half-time but both are expected to feature against Newcastle.
Tickets for Sunday's game are just £15 (adults), £10 (adult season ticket holders) and £5 (concessions) - click here for details - and Adkins is keen to ensure Blades stalwart Morgan gets his moment in the limelight.
"I'm hoping Blades fans get themselves down to Bramall Lane in support of Chris, who deserves it for all he has done for the Club. A lot of work has gone into the game and typical of Chris, he is sharing the day with three great charities, added Adkins.
