Billy Sharp is keen to live up to his billing after signing on as a Blades player for a third time at the weekend.
The 29-year-old is a self-confessed Blades fan and signed a two year deal with the option for a third after an undisclosed fee was agreed with Leeds United for his services.
"It feels amazing to be back, another dream for me," said Billy.
"Last time when I came back I should have scored more but I don't think I played enough. I went away, proved that I can do it, it is hard to explain, but I'm ready for this challenge. I'm older, wiser, more experienced and this Gaffer knows what I can do and I'm looking forward to what's coming.
"The Gaffer has shown great faith in me and I want to repay him by doing the job I have done for him at other clubs.
"I've been brought in to score goals, I will be judged on that, as every striker is."
Sharp came through the United ranks before leaving for Scunthorpe United in 2005. He returned in 2007 and scored 13 times before moving on once more.
"I want to be part of the squad that takes this Club back to the Championship. It would be special, the Gaffer has experience of getting teams promoted, he will get us going, if we can get momentum we will do really well," added Sharp.
