United's U18s continued their pre-season preparations with an impressive performance in the Czech Republic.
The Blades took part in the U19 Viktoria Strunce Cup, organised by Viktoria Plzen, and suffered just one defeat, to the eventual winners of the competition.
Ahead of flying off to China, the youngsters from the Redtooth Academy pitted themselves against European opposition.
Coach Ashley Foyle commented: "This trip has proved to be an excellent opportunity for the boys to get a good amount of game time under their belts and come up against some tough foreign opposition.
"There was some very pleasing performances as we were a lot younger than most of the opposition teams. The players worked really hard in very hot conditions and managed to spend some valuable time getting closer as a group ready for the start of the new season."
United kicked off the tournament with a 2-1 victory over hosts Viktoria Plzen, thanks to goals from Shea Gordon and Brodie Litchfield.
Then followed a 4-0 defeat to German side 1860 Munich, who went on to win the tournament, but the Blades hit back with a 6-1 success over MSK Zilina to secure a fifth place finish.
Litchfield netted a hat-trick, whilst Keegan Burton (2) and David Parkhouse were also on target against the Slovakian side and later United's Aaron Ramsdale was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament.
