Nigel Clough is looking forward to welcoming league leaders Swindon Town to Bramall Lane on Saturday and is confident his side will produce a much better performance than they did in the corresponding in Wiltshire.
United were on the wrong end of a 5-2 scoreline at the County Ground in September, but the Blades boss insists his team are a totally different proposition now, although he acknowledges the Robins are deservedly top of the pile at the moment.
Clough remarked: "Swindon play a certain way and they aren't going to change when they are sitting nicely at the top of the table.
"But we were poor at the County Ground, it was our worst performance of the season and it is fair to say we have improved drastically defensively since that day, we have a totally different back four now and the form of Basham and McEveley has been instrumental to that improvement.
"We went 3-0 down and were poor, but then we got back to 3-2 and on another day it could have turned out differently, but that could be said about a lot of matches because we are very rarely out of a game.
"Andy Williams is scoring a lot of goals up front, but as a team they are really strong, they are a settled group and have been for much of the season.
"They haven't played for a fortnight and have been away in the sun training, but who knows whether that will have a positive impact or not, although they will be fresh and raring to go."
