Youngsters impress during loans

5 February 2015

Several of United's young scholars have been recalled from their loan spells with local non-league clubs, after gaining the experience of playing competitive first-team football in recent weeks.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has return to Shirecliffe, after he enjoyed a prosperous spell with Stalybridge Celtic in the Vanarama Conference North, netting six times in five appearances.

Jake Wright scored 14 goals in seven outings for Hallam FC and could be poised to join Ilkeston in the near future.

After scoring twice in five starts, Daniel Cockerline has been recalled from his stint at Grantham Town, whilst defender Ioan Evans made five appearances for Sheffield FC's U21s during his time with the Club.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Jake Eastwood will remain with the Club after impressing during his initial loan spell and defender Joe Cheeseman will stay with Ossett Town as he looks to force himself into their team consistently.

Finally, having seen the recent inclement weather cause disruption to their schedule, Stocksbridge Park Steels have retained the services of midfielder Kler Heh.
