Chris Morgan says both the Blades and Presto North End have a 'tremendous incentive' to win Tuesday's FA Cup fourth round replay at Bramall Lane.
The winners of the aforementioned tie will play the victors of the replay between Manchester United and Cambridge United at home later this month and Morgan says that should be motivation enough.
The Blades first-team coach remarked: "Preston will be looking at the game exactly the same as us, barring a major shock, up there with the biggest in the FA Cup, the winners of this time will host Manchester United in round five.
"It hasn't got the pressure of the semi-finals against Spurs, but there is still a tremendous incentive there for the players, they must go out there and grab it.
"These cup games can be regarded as a distraction, but they are probably a reminder of some of the special nights we have had at Bramall Lane down the years.
"The Tottenham staff after the second-leg were very complimentary about our team, the atmosphere on the night and the stadium, they said we were a Premier League Club in League One and we know we have the infrastructure to get back there in the future.
"Our ultimate aim is to win promotion, but you don't get the chance to play Manchester United every week and for both clubs it is a tremendous prize that is on offer."
The two teams will face each other for a fourth time this season on Tuesday and Morgan added: "It is always a close game against Preston, there is never much between the sides and Tuesday night will be no different."
