Gaffer on Red Devils test

27 February 2015

Nigel Clough says the Blades are under no illusions about how difficult a proposition Dean Saunders's Crawley Town outfit will be at the Broadfield Stadium on Saturday.

Speaking prior to departing south, the Blades boss remarked: ‚Äč"Crawley will be as confident now as they have been all season and justifiably so after beating Barnsley (5-1) and winning at Swindon last week.

"They gave a good account of themselves in the corresponding fixture at Bramall Lane in August and they will be buzzing, especially being at home where they are particular strong.

"In this division you can't look at the table and take things for granted, Saturday will be equally as difficult as any other game we have had recently.

"Just like teams towards the top, teams at the bottom are fighting and scrapping for every point, Crawley beat Swindon last week and Bristol City lost at Colchester, we have to make sure we don't drop points prior to two home games in the space of five days next week

"Our situation is simplified at the moment, we just have to go out and try and win every game and put as much pressure on the teams above us as possible."
