Nigel Adkins is confident his players can build on last week's cup success over Oldham Athletic when Coventry City provide the opposition in front of the Sky cameras on Sunday lunchtime.
Despite Coventry arriving at Bramall Lane looking to make it a dozen games unbeaten in League One, the Blades boss is demanding his players assert their authority on the game from the first whistle.
But Adkins is also acutely aware of the threats the Sky Blues, who are currently second in the table, will pose when they arrive at S2.
Looking ahead to the fixture, the Gaffer remarked: "Coventry are a very good footballing side, they get the ball down and play whenever possible and they have scored a lot of goals to date.
"They come here in excellent form and Tony Mowbray has done a fantastic job at the Ricoh Arena having joined last season and steadied the ship in difficult circumstances.
"It will be another test, but one we're ready for and as we always say the next game is the most important and for us that's on Sunday."
But focusing on his own side, Adkins added: "It is down to us to be positive and get on the front foot, because the crowd will be right behind us.
"We need to keep more clean sheets and in the last couple of games we have looked solid defensively, so there something to be encouraged about.
"But at the other end of the field, we need that quality in the final third and be ruthless in front of goal when we create the chances to score."
