United's U21s are now five league matches unbeaten, following Monday's stalemate at Crewe Alexandra.
Callum Saunders, son of former Blades striker Dean
gave the Alex the lead, but Jake Wright netted within a minute to restore parity before half-time but despite dominating the second period the visitors had to be content with a share of the spoils.
Florent Cuvelier completed over 80 minutes as he steps up his rehabilitation from injury, whilst James Wallace, Harrison McGahey and Louis Reed all got 90 minutes of action.
Reflecting on the draw, Coach Chris Morgan commented: "We dominated the second-half which means we are frustrated not to have won the game.
"We were kicking with the wind in the second-half and we should have used it to our advantage further, but we just lacked that bit of quality in the final third.
"But despite our dominance, Aaron Ramsdale has produced three excellent saves, two in the first-half and one in the second, so he deserves a lot of credit for being there when called upon."
On extending the unbeaten run, Morgan added: "We are now five games unbeaten so we are moving in the right direction and the lads should be pleased with what we have achieved to date.
"We have a good bunch of lads who are determined to improve and with hardwork they will, so we must continue with their developments in a positive manner."
