The partnership between United and Sheffield Hallam University continues to develop and during March and April a number of second year students are on placement with the Blades.
Across the Club, 11 students are experiencing first-hand what it is like to work in a professional Football Club.
Anna Fitzpatrick and Anthony Henry are with the sport science team in the Academy. This is an extension to the part time internships which they have been doing throughout the rest of the academic year.
Tom Bradshaw is based with the Academy physiotherapy staff while Scott Johnson and Asha Turner Josephs are at Gym Plus at Crookes. Will Shaw and Liam Ansell are at the Lane with the Commercial team.
The Community Foundation also have four students with them who have already been working with them through the Coach Academy - Leandra Whelbrand, Sophie Connor, Conor Merone and Robbie Blunden.
Sue Beeley, who is the Club's main link for placements added: "This opportunity gives students a real feel for working in professional sport and helps them develop their skills. From a Club perspective it extends our capacity with students carrying out a number of projects."
