Fresh from his international debut with England's U18s, Louis Reed is ready for Saturday's South Yorkshire with Barnsley (12.15pm kick-off).
The 17-year-old featured in both games against Switzerland at the end of last month, impressing coach Neil Dewsnip in 1-0 and 6-1 wins respectively, but now the midfielder says he is totally focused on the weekend's clash at Oakwell.
Penistone-born Reed commented: "I am fit and raring to go, if selected.
"I know a few of the younger Barnsley players, I used to go to school with George Smith and he is there or thereabouts around their first-team and started at Bristol City last Saturday."
The youngster added: "Barnsley, Doncaster and Chesterfield are three big derbies to look forward to, but on Saturday we will be backed by nearly 6,000 fans and they can play their part as we look to put some distance between ourselves and the chasing pack.
"Barnsley have done brilliantly under Lee Johnson and they will fancy their chances of sneaking into the top six, but we have to make sure it isn't at our expense."
