Jamal Campbell-Ryce felt Saturday's entertaining stalemate with Preston North at Deepdale was a 'fair result'.
The experienced winger impressed in an end-to-end encounter in Lancashire, but admitted afterwards defeat on either team would have been harsh.
Campbell-Ryce, who played on the right-wing, commented "It was one of the better League One matches you will probably see all season and everyone expects both teams to be up there at the end of the season, on that evidence you can see why.
"Two big clubs went head-to-head, the atmosphere was rocking and there was some excellent football on show too.
"In the end it was a fair result, both teams could have nicked a winner, but it would have been unfair if there had been a loser. Preston are a good team, but we now go into the international break on a decent unbeaten run and that is important."
