Chris Basham was singled out for praise following Tuesday night's home victory and clean sheet.
The utility player, signed in the summer from Blackpool, played in a Sky Bet League One game in central defence for the Blades for the first time, partnering teenager Harrison McGahey.
"Chris marshalled it really well back there," said boss Nigel Clough.
"Yeovil had some bid lads and were a threat at set plays but I thought Chris, especially, was tremendous. I don't know who won the man of the match award but he deserved to be very close.
"He's had a tough start. He's moved over, just become a dad but he's settling in to become the player we expected him to be. It was great to see him in the back four, he got the lads out when they needed too and competed for every single ball."
