Jamie Murphy hopes United's luck at Crewe Alexandra will change on Saturday.
The winger, who scored in the victory over Yeovil in midweek, has twice been on the losing team at the Alexandra Stadium. He played an hour in last season's 3-0 defeat and 45 minutes in the previous year's 1-0 loss.
"Crewe will be dangerous again, as is every team on a good run," said Murphy. "They have done well recently but we have too and we head there looking to win the game.
"The lads are confident, and so we should be after two wins, but we will not underestimate them, especially after last year's game.
"I don't think revenge is the right word but everyone who played that day will certainly remember how it felt. As it happens, it was a turning point in our season but it would be nice to finally chalk up a win at Crewe."
