United manager Nigel Clough has been named the Sky Bet League 1 Manager of the Month for February.
A frantically busy February combined four wins from five games with FA Cup progress as United embraced their manager's principles of hard work and solidarity.
Clough's team kept four clean sheets and moved up to mid-table.
Dave Bassett chairs the Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel.
He said: "Having started the month in the relegation zone, Sheffield United have surged up the table. Nigel's men played seven matches last month, so to maintain such consistency in the League and the FA Cup is an impressive feat."
Sky Sports' Football League pundit Don Goodman said: "It's been an almost faultless display from Sheffield United in February. They've turned what was a genuine relegation battle into an outside opportunity of a Play-Off spot.
"They go into tough games against Preston North End and Wolverhampton Wanderers this month in a confident mood."
In the Sky Bet Championship, Uwe Rösler of Wigan Athletic was named Sky Bet Manager of the Month.
The Sky Bet League 2 Manager of the Month Award went to Bury manager David Flitcroft.
The judging panel is chaired by former Football League manager Dave Bassett with Sky Sports' Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson; League Managers' director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Head of Football Paul Wiggins.
