Nigel Clough has revealed he expects to only be missing James Wallace when United tackle SPL newcomers Dundee at Bramall Lane on Friday night, please note kick-off is 7pm.
Wallace has been struggling with a number of minor niggles since returning to pre-season training, although the Gaffer is confident Ryan Flynn, Marc McNulty, Neill Collins and Jamie Murphy will all feature against The Dees having missed Tuesday's draw at Northampton Town.
The Blades boss remarked: "James Wallace will again be missing, but hopefully he will be fit and ready to feature against either Huddersfield or Fenerbahce next week.
"The four that missed out at Sixfields should all be fit and raring to go and that is pleasing, especially as Ryan and Marc have yet to get any minutes under their belts to date."
Clough outlined his plans to rotate his squad before the stalemate with Chris Wilder's Cobblers and the Gaffer reiterated his desire to get everyone the appropriate level of game time on Friday evening.
He continued: "Those that played 60 or 70 minutes on Tuesday will play the last 20 or 30 on Friday, meaning the ones that didn't start against Northampton will do so against Dundee.
"It is such a fine balancing act in pre-season, but despite not winning a game yet, we are pleased with our progress in terms of fitness.
"As I have said before the results are secondary in pre-season, although it would be nice to get three positive results in front of our own fans in the next seven days."
