Bob Harris enjoyed his first taste of Bramall Lane action on Sunday and is keen for more in the weeks ahead.
Initially here for 28 days as part of the loan swap deal with Blackpool which also involved Tony McMahon, Bob says the chance to play regular first-team football left him in no doubt the time was right to move away from Bloomfield Road.
The Scotsman is hoping he can prove his worth to boss Nigel Clough and extend the initial arrangement, he commented: "I just want to play first-team football, when you train hard Monday to Friday, there has to be some reward on a Saturday and that is playing on a Saturday afternoon.
"It hasn't happened at Blackpool for the best part of two seasons now, so when this opportunity came up I didn't hesitate at all.
"I know it looked like it had fallen through last week, but thankfully everything got sorted ahead of the weekend and I was eligible to play against Fulham.
"It was nice to hear and read that the Gaffer (Nigel Clough) has monitored my situation for a while and considered me good enough for Derby in the Championship last season.
"I am here now and keen to impress, I know I am initially only here for 28 days, but hopefully that stay can be extended to the end of the season at least."
