Right place, right time

27 February 2014

Chris Porter is delighted to see United on an upward curve in League One.

Speaking after another match-winning penalty kick at Colchester United on Tuesday night, the Club's leading scorer remarked:

"The lads were doing really well long before I came on, but similar to the Forest game I was in the right place at the right time to score from the spot. We dominated the game and away from home that is some achievement.

"It makes a massive difference to be keeping clean sheets, it is an old cliché but good teams win a lot of matches 1-0, especially on the road, and we are moving in the right direction.

"We've climbed up the table in the past few weeks and our position now certainly looks a lot healthier than a few weeks ago. Now we just need to keep that going and see where it takes us."
