Gaffer on U's test

25 February 2014

Nigel Clough says the Blades will adopt a positive approach at Colchester United on Tuesday night.

But the Gaffer insists nothing can be taken for granted against Joe Dunne's U's at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

Looking ahead to the clash, Clough remarked: "I think our win at their place will give them [Colchester] an added incentive. We went there and scored three goals and they will be out for revenge.

"We had it when we played Gillingham. They turned us over at Bramall Lane and we weren't too pleased with that.

"Players certainly remember who they've lost to, especially at home."

The Blades boss added: "We are three points off the bottom four so there is nothing to be complacent about.

"We are in the midst of a good run but we have to continue with that. The key is to fight and scrap for everything because of the position we are in.

"But also it is important not to play like a team in relegation trouble. We have to play with positivity as we have done since the defeat at Crewe as we look to continue to move in the right direction."
