Chris Morgan assumed the media duties following Saturday's resounding 3-0 victory over Bristol City at Bramall Lane and he felt the Blades were full value for a second crucial Sky Bet League One success in the space of four days.
John Brayford, his first for United sent United into the break with an advantage and in the second-half Ryan Flynn and a penalty from Jose Baxter added to the tally, much to the delight of the majority of the 19,000 plus crowd inside the Lane.
On the week's six-point haul, Morgan remarked: "The result was obviously what we wanted, following on from the deserved win at Gillingham in midweek and to win in the manner we did was very pleasing.
"The two positive results in quick succession have come because we have worked hard and played some good attacking football.
"The Gaffer demands a fast start from the lads, particularly at home because we know how important it is to get the fans behind the team, especially given the numbers we attract.
"After the win over Forest last Sunday people will have been looking this week at how we would react in the league but we have answered that question in the best possible way."
Despite the Blades moving up to 17th following the over the Robins, Morgan warned: "We don't want this confidence to spill over into complacency because as we keep telling the players we are still down there and still need to fight to steer clear of the bottom four.
"That message will be emphasised ahead of Colchester on Tuesday night."
