Bob confident ahead of Fleetwood trip

12 December 2014

Bob Harris is confident the Blades will pick up from where they left off against Plymouth Argyle, when they return to Sky Bet League One action at Fleetwood Town on Saturday.

The Blades head to Highbury, looking for three points after three games without a win and Harris says last week's FA Cup success should stand them in good stead.

The left-back also believes the Blades are due a change of luck and expects a good run of results to put them firmly in the mix in the upper echelons of the table.

He commented: "We've had a break with the FA Cup win and now we're looking forward to getting back into league action.

"We've not had the results lately that we'd have liked but the performances have been there.

"We're fifth in the table and not too far off the top. If we have a good run then we'll be right in the mix. We're probably the only team that's not had that yet but we are still in a good position and in with a good shout."

Looking ahead to the weekend, Harris paid the Cod Army's remarkable progress in recent years a compliment, he remarked:

"Where Fleetwood have come from to where they are now has been a magnificent story, but they are ambitious and keen to go further.

"They've got a chairman who puts a lot of his own money in and the facilities up there are meant to be superb.

"I know Stephen Dobbie very well from our Blackpool days and the fact he left a Premiership club to go there tells you all you need to know."
