Blades boss Nigel Clough is confident the Blades can cope without Chris Basham for three matches, following his red card at Port Vale on Boxing Day.
Clough, who admitted his frustrations about Stuart Attwell's decision to dismiss Basham following a 50/50 challenge with former Blade Michael Brown post-match, says the enforced absence of the former Blackpool man will give younger members of the squad a chance to impress.
The Gaffer remarked: "We've got Terry Kennedy and Harrison McGahey who can both play there.
"Obviously it's a blow to lose Chris, especially because he's been doing so well of late.
"But what's happened will create an opportunity for someone else. They are good young lads with plenty to offer who have shown what they are capable of in the past."
