John Brayford says he has 'fallen in love' with Sheffield United and Bramall Lane, but remains unsure where his long-term future lies.
The Cardiff City loanee, who has three years remaining on his contract with the Welsh outfit, says the Bluebirds will ultimately have the final say on his next move.
But Brayford says his loan spell with Nigel Clough's Blades has gone like a dream.
He remarked: "From when I joined in January, to where we are today is nothing short of remarkable.
"I wanted to get out and enjoy my football, having not done so in the first-half of the season at Cardiff, but I have fallen in love with the place, the people here and the supporters.
"I know my beard gets a lot of attention but I would hope the fans will remember me for my performances, not just my facial hair!
"There is a great bunch of lads here and the Gaffer has worked very hard to get the team spirit and character in place, but I honestly don't know where I will be playing my football next season, the ball is in Cardiff's court.
"But I am just delighted to have been a part of things here over the last few months and the future at Sheffield United is definitely a bright one."
