Jamie Murphy felt the Blades were good value for Friday's win at Port Vale.
Murphy equalised in the 83rd minute, before Chris Porter netted what proved to be the winning goal in the final minute of the 90.
The influential Scotsman remarked: "At this stage of the season you get through the last ten minutes of games on pure adrenaline, but it is always nice to get a goal and an assist, especially when it contributes to a win.
"It is a big pitch at Vale Park, but it is immaculate and that suited us. We got the ball down, remained patient and gradually looked more threatening as the game progressed.
"In the end I think we deserved to win and once we equalised there was only going to be one winner.
"We created a lot of chances in the second-half and, apart from the goal, we didn't really looked troubled at the other end.
"The game was there for the taking and thankfully we took the chance with both hands, by scoring two very similar goals."
