Skipper Michael Doyle has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award for March.
The Blades captain scored at the weekend, but his selection has come following a number of impressive performances protecting United's back four.
Daily Mail's Football League correspondent, Ivan Speck, commented on Doyle's nomination: "The United captain provided an almost impregnable shield to a defence which kept six clean sheets during March. He protected the back four with numerous blocks and tackles, and was outstanding at Preston North End and Crawley Town."
Notts County striker Ronan Murray, Rotherham United loanee James Tavernier and Coventry City's Callum Wilson are the other nominations.
The winner will be announced on Friday (4th April).
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports' Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Head of Communications John Nagle; League Managers' Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Head of Football Paul Wiggins
