David Weir is backing Saturday's opponents Wolves to be amongst the frontrunners for promotion come the final reckoning in League One this season.
Speaking ahead of the weekend's clash, Weir said: "I have seen Wolves twice recently and it goes without saying they have tremendous attacking options.
"From back-to-front they have some tremendous players and a real strength in depth to their squad, as you would expect given their financial power.
"I am sure Kenny (Jackett) will have his sights set firmly on a top two finish and promotion back to the Championship will be their only goal.
"They are a very good team that has shown that with a good start, so it will be another tough afternoon for us, but we remain confident that at our best we are a match for them.
"Losing Kevin (McDonald) did have an effect on the squad, but we knew the situation was a like a ticking time bomb, Kevin chose to leave despite the club making a terrific attempt to retain his services."
