Should Neill Collins and Harry Maguire both start and complete Saturday's game at Carlisle United then they will have achieved a landmark together.
It will be the 100th game the duo have started and finished together and a win at Brunton Park would be their 50th victory as a central defensive pairing.
As you would expect, the pair have the utmost admiration for each other. On United's number five, Collins remarked: "Harry is one of the best partners I have ever had the pleasure of playing alongside.
"I can still remember his debut against Cardiff City, when he came on as a substitute and mixed it with the likes of Craig Bellemy and Jay Bothroyd.
"People forget he is still only 20 because of the size and stature of him, but despite racking up well over 100 starts his career is still evolving. Harry is so mature and the best thing about him is his willingness and determination to improve.
"When someone wants to develop you usually find they go on to have long successful career and Harry can go a long way in this game."
Of Collins, Maguire responded: "Neill has been fantastic to me since I broke into the team and he is a first-class defender in his own right too.
"Both on and off the field he always looks to lead by example and although sometimes the lads might think he is getting on their back, he only ever does things for the good of the team.
"Personally he has been fantastic for my development and to play alongside week in, week out and has really improved my overall game.
"We have a fantastic understanding, we both know each other's game inside out and hopefully our partnership can continue to flourish this season."
