Chris Morgan will be in the technical area for Saturday's game against Crewe Alexandra, says new boss Nigel Clough.
United's new manager is well aware just how important the input of Morgan, interim boss for the last three games, will be in the weeks ahead, commenting:
"Chris is going to be absolute vital as we move forward, he knows the club from top to bottom and we will be relying on him heavily.
"Chris will have a lot to offer and will be in the technical area on Saturday.
"I am bringing in two lads who have worked with me at Burton and Derby in Gary (Crosby) and Andy (Garner), like the players all the staff already in place start with a clean slate."
On the challenge the Railwaymen will pose, Clough concluded: "Crewe remain a typical Crewe side. They are a young team with plenty of match experience who are focused on playing attractive, passing football.
"I am very surprised to see they lost to Stevenage in midweek, depending on which Crewe side turn up it could be 3-0 either way, that is what they are capable of on their day.
"Our players seem to have been comfortable with what Chris has asked of them of late, defensively we have looked stronger and that is encouraging for me because we have to lay some solid foundations."
