Nigel Clough has indicated that there could be movement in and out of Bramall Lane before the end of the week.
With the emergency loan window closing on Thursday, meaning no business can be done until 1st January, Clough has said it could be a busy 48 hours following Tuesday's League One clash with Walsall.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, the Gaffer started by discussing the immediate future of Conor Coady, who is at Bramall Lane from Liverpool until the New Year:
"We are still assessing Conor. He has contributed in a slightly unfamiliar position of late, when he is probably more at home centrally.
"But he is a young lad and this experience isn't doing him any harm at all - hopefully he will get a good run in the team before we evaluate his situation.
"After Tuesday's game, we are going to have a look at the loan market, we have names on a list but ideally we would like to get a couple out first."
