Danny on strengthening

14 March 2013

Danny Wilson admits he isn't ruling out the prospect of adding to his squad before the loan window closes later this month.

When the windows slams shut at 5pm on Thursday 28th March, United will have to negotiate the final eight matches of the League One season without any reinforcements and the manager is keen not to get caught without options as the Blades enter the home straight in the quest for a return to the Championship.

Wilson commented: "We don't want to get caught short and the weather has made the situation more delicate because of how many games we will have to play in April.

"We need to make sure we enter the last few games with as many options as possible, so we are very much on the lookout and it will remain a priority to strengthen.

"It would be a travesty if we get caught short as the season approaches its conclusion because we won't want it to hamper our progress. Hopefully we can keep everyone together but as we have seen you never know what could happen with injuries or even suspensions."
