Chris Porter is keen to help the Blades win promotion to the Championship following his loan spell at Shrewsbury Town.
Porter returned to Bramall Lane last week, after scoring once in four starts at the Greenhous Meadow.
He remarked: "I needed a spell away from the club to get some games and thankfully I did that at Shrewsbury.
"It was good to be involved and the lads there were very welcoming towards me, as was the manager (Graham Turner) and his staff. I really enjoyed my time there but I am delighted to be back, fit and raring to go when selected."
Looking back at last Saturday's 4-0 defeat at Stevenage, Porter believes it was a blip and won't stop the Blades making a return to England's second tier.
He added: "The second goal killed us at the start of the second half, but credit to the lad for netting a hat-trick.
"It was a bad day office but our focus is now firmly on Brentford. The aim is still promotion and hopefully I can play my part in the weeks ahead."
