Boss doesn't expect additions

27 March 2013

Ahead of Thursday's 5pm loan deadline, Blades boss Danny Wilson has revealed he doesn't expect to add to his squad.

Speaking at Wednesday's pre-match press conference in preparation for Friday's clash against Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park, Wilson commented: "It is very unlikely that we will be adding to the squad before close of play on Thursday, unless something unexpected happens in the next 24 hours.

"With so many games coming up throughout April, time will fly by, we will just jump from game-to-game and before we blink again it will be the end of the season."

Wilson did sign four players in the January transfer window, with Danny Higginbotham, Jamie Murphy, Barry Robson and Jonathan Forte all arriving in South Yorkshire.

Since then the Gaffer has secured the services of Leeds United striker Dominic Poleon on-loan for the remainder of the season.
