Danny Wilson is excited by the prospect of playing under the floodlights at Bramall Lane on Friday night.
The Blades are in rare Friday night action, owing to Sheffield Wednesday's home game with Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday (the Owls switched a fixture when the Blades were at home on the same day earlier in the season).
Looking ahead to the clash, Wilson said: "It will be a big challenge for us, Coventry are in excellent form of late and are just outside the top six.
"We have had two very good games against them already this season and as you saw they were very even contests.
"It is two big clubs going head-to-head with everything to play for.
"It will be a special atmosphere under the lights at Bramall Lane and I am sure the supporters will back the lads from the first minute to the last.
"I have said since the start of the season that Coventry will be there or thereabouts and Mark (Robins) has done tremendously well to get them up the league after a poor start.
"I am more bothered about our performances, though, and this is the first of two very important home matches for us."
