Seize the initiative

1 February 2013

Danny Higginbotham is urging the Blades to seize the initiative early when Coventry City provide the opposition at Bramall Lane on Friday night (7.45pm kick-off).

United, who go into this clash on the back of consecutive home defeats in League One, will be keen to return to winning ways against the in-form Sky Blues.

Speaking ahead of the fixture, Higginbotham said: "Coventry are doing very well as we speak. They started the season badly, but Mark Robins has come in and turned things around quickly.

"It is going to be a very tough game, but it is one we are capable of winning in front of our own fans.

"They are on a roll but all good runs come to an end and we must make sure we stop them in their tracks.

"We need to look at what we have got at our disposal, make a positive start and really look to get back to our best.

"If we win these next to home games we would be right back on the pace and our focus remains automatic promotion."
